After from moving from Melbourne to Canberra in 1990, he established and performed with the Tinkers, the top traditional band of the day which was made up of highly skilled young musicians. "In all the years I have seen Irish fiddle workshops, many by some of the visiting "greats" from Ireland, I have never seen as thorough a teaching method as yours." Lucia Okumura, President, Hawkesbury National Fiddle Festival NSW 2003.
